LUDĚK HYNČÍK
Director for International Cooperation - NTC,
University of West Bohemia
Luděk Hynčík obtained his Ph.D. in 2002 and concluded his habilitation in 2014. His field is the use of virtual human body models for injury risk analysis related to vehicle impact. As the senior researcher, he investigated many national and international projects. He assembled a team of students and young engineers and founded the Department of Human Body Modelling and Monitoring at the New Technologies - Research Centre of the University of West Bohemia. He is appointed the associate professor at the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of West Bohemia and the visiting professor at Tianjin University of Science and Technology. Currently, he serves as the vice-rector for research and development of the University of West Bohemia. He also works as the vice president for education of FISITA, the member of the Technical Committee for Biomechanical Engineering of IFToMM and the member of SAE.
ONDŘEJ VACULÍN
Professor of Passive Vehicle Safety and Mechatronic Systems,
Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt
Since March 2018 Ondřej Vaculín is research professor for Passive Vehicle Safety and Mechatronic Systems at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) in Germany with co-appointment at the Institute of Safety in Future Mobility (C-ISAFE) of the Center of Automotive Research on Integrated Safety Systems and Measurement Area (CARISSMA). Ondřej studied Control Engineering and since 2001 holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague. He worked as researcher at German Aerospace Centre in Oberpfaffenhofen, Free University of Brussels and Czech Technical University in Prague. Before entering THI he was at TÜV SÜD for 10 years with global responsibility for safety and security automotive. His research has yielded more than 100 scientific publications in the broader field vehicle safety, automated driving, e-mobility and vehicle simulation. Ondřej is president of CAS - Czech Automotive Society since 2014 and member of FISITA Technical Committee and FISITA Council delegate since 2016.
